I can’t tell if you’re joking or not (it’s funny if you are!) so here’s the answer just in case: Most of the powers that involve setting someone on fire just use the “ongoing damage” rule, so I suspect that’s how being on fire works in 4E. Example: http://ww2.wizards.com/dnd/insider/power.aspx?id=2272
Oh ok. Well there’s a rule in the DMG that says “At any time the DM may declare that a PC has spontaneously combusted, resulting in ongoing 10 fire damage”.
But a lot of people complained so they fixed in the errata, where they said “In the rules for spontaneous combustion, replace ‘ongoing 10 fire damage’ with ‘ongoing 5 fire damage’ “.
This is apropos of nothing, but do any of you know if there are new rules for being set on fire?
Well, first you have to determine your OFN, or On Fire Number…
Do you mean rules for setting characters on fire or rules for setting players on fire?

I can’t wait! I will be rolling in piles of residuuum!
Thanks, jimb! Sorry, I should have been clearer. I was actually looking for rules for spontaneous combustion.

This is also completely unrelated, but do you want to make any NPCs for the town, jimb? And are they combustible?
